The ridiculous(ly awesome) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic cake we got Annie for her 12th birthday. She LOVED it. It says, "Happy Birthday, you Pegasister" and references this scene.

She and I had dinner out alone at her choice, P.F. Changs - where she can have all manner of vegetarian feasting.

She used some of her money to pierce her ears.

Here she is about to throw up. The guy was really nice.

Done, and raving that she could do anything, survive anything, that she made up her mind that she was going to do it and so she did.

The ridiculously awesome french breakfast I presented her with one morning. I had just savored something similar and decided I needed to share the experience with someone who would appreciate it.

The following photo set was sent to my husband FAR TOO LATE one night with the text, "FINALLY."

Annie.

Aaron.

Isaac.

Jake.

Elise.
Aaron brought this guy in a couple of weeks ago and told me our milkweed is covered in caterpillars again. I let him take the camera(phone) out to capture more of them.

Since then, we've had dozens of monarchs and tiger swallowtails hatch around our yard. There are butterflies everywhere.
One afternoon while A&A were at camp, I took the littles and met up with Laura and her kids at a new park in Florida City.
My niece Elizabeth:

She is Jake's favorite. They're great friends, and Laura and I lament that they're related and can't get married one day. The height difference really astounds me.

Jake, nephew Brian, Isaac.

Speaking of height differences...wut.

She's like some wild scale model "Honey I Blew Up The Kids" Godzilla Elise. How can my youngest be that much taller than a person who speaks in sentences and uses the toilet?
New niece, Isabelle, sleeping in a Kozy Carrier:

And Isaac, Jake, and Elise standing by the "new" car after they ran around town with me getting it registered and insured and then helped me put the plate on it.
