Massive Picture Dump

I have this small camera I carry around in my purse and things. I hadn't gotten any pics off of it in a couple of months. So today I pulled, edited and uploaded the best of them. They are all over the place.
My sister lives in a flood zone. We pulled up on a normal sunny day, awhile later it rained for about half an hour while we were inside, and when we came out to leave, we found this.

Ananda getting her makeup done before her recital.

Aaron with a lego creation.

Annie made this to pin on her shirt.

The first day Isaac's head was shaved. Sinister Isaac. It's grown out a lot already.

Abstract sink art. I'm not kidding, Ananda called me all excited to come and see and take a picture.

Aaron, excitedly: MOM! Take a picture, take a picture, for failblog! "Phone number fail"!

The four of us went to PetCo while the 3 big kids were at VBS.

I got these shoes for $10, years ago at Urban Outfitters. I really like them.

On our way out to South Dade Park, where there is a new skate park - actually a really nice, impressively expansive skatepark with a lifeguard who makes you wear a helmet and calls 911 when you break your arm and everything.

You can see this is more recent, from Isaac's hair.

This killed me with Ananda, and it kills me now. That neck nape, man. I don't know what it is.

At the zoo while Ananda was in dance last Saturday.

And in the back room, the used book and meeting room, of the bookstore - that day I managed to get poetry by John Updike and Leonard Cohen, a big collection of verse, a Kurt Vonnegut novel I haven't read(all used), and Annie's newest Spiderwick Chronicles (new), for $12.75, which is further offset by good company, a large fishtank and them being amused for an hour while I read.

I was in the bathroom at City Church, and I was like, man, my hair looks great today. And so I kept trying to take a picture. But they all were coming out wack. Grant thinks this pose would be a good contender for Awkward Family Photos - I don't think it's quite that bad. But still weird.

I moved outside, and just got the official Myspace Fat Girl Pose, even with requisite washout.

I sort of wish I didn't know so much about internet photography cliches. Ignorance is bliss.
The kids made masks that day during children's church.

Yesterday we were back at the zoo, with my sister Laura, her husband Frank and their son Brian. Every now and then I feel like I should describe them that way in case someone reading doesn't know who I'm talking about. Anyway, Grant and I saw this picture and were like, uh, who is that little girl and where is our baby?

And that is not even getting into the huge one under the parasol.
Elise and Brian.

Grant says this should be captioned, "Laura is pregnant, and Frank has sympathy bloating in his face". I am incidentally very excited that Laura is pregnant, and always up for an opportunity to make fun of Frank, so sounds good.

Isaac was far too sad far too often :/

But he did have a great time playing in the water with everyone for almost an hour before we went home.
