I AM SO BEHIND WITH THINGS I WANT TO POST

I have an epic lot of pictures and video from Aaron's dance convention weekend, and our whole trip in general, and I'll try to do that really soon. For now though, I have 11 pictures and 1 video from last week.
What I see in the van visor. All the time, because the flap down over the mirror is broken >:O

Practically every day.

Messy mouth.

Our latest park.

Latest project.

Ananda, Aaron and I were eating dinner at a (different, first time) park before Aaron's last rehearsal. This was after their two dance classes of the day. Littles were thrilled to be at mother in law's house where the treats are unlimited and currently Easter themed.

They were pretty thrilled with these. Chocolate cups full of chocolate mousse, from Whole Foods. $1.99 each and worth every penny.

Epic pimple+concealer=deformity :p

He's in the green shorts.
Tawanna's teen hip hop group. They built that, and they danced on top of the pieces, and that is a girl IN A NECK BRACE against one of the speakers. Dedication vs masochism - it's a fine line.

It was pretty awesome when the sound system died halfway through and Tawanna immediately started in with stomping feet, clapping hands, and lyrics like "vanilla something, something something chocolate". We all laughed hysterically, but they got through the damned dance, by golly.
Real post to come...
Edited to Add: This was last week's song, and I'm definitely referencing it in the next entry because I was reminded of it more than once over the weekend...

I'm still trying to decide what my personal standard of "ok with me" is, with kids' dance - the coochie popping is iffy but the hands running up and down curves that aren't there yet is what really makes me go, ok, this would be better if she skipped that part. Similarly I've become accustomed to nearly naked dance costumes and understand it makes functional sense, but it's when they mock lingerie or have breast compartments that are empty that it just seems...somewhere between silly and gross.
