I've Done Something Crazy!

Bangs, what?! ...Ok, fringe for you British people.

Isn't it SO DAMNED WEIRD?!?! I honestly have no idea what I think of it right now. I absolutely LOVED it when I first did it, and for the next hour. But then the chicks who teach AWANA were very sympathetic about it (one of them actually said "they'll grow" reassuringly to me) and some of the pictures I got were REALLY HORRIBLE. These are the best of them...and they're not good pictures so don't think I'm delusional. This is me, Grant's broken tripod and Aaron as a photographer. I just mean they show the hair best. I'm extremely NOT photogenic - it's actually hard to get anything that resembles me out of a picture.





The consolation prize here is if I do decide I hate them, I can literally do this with no mirror in 2 seconds:



It stays that way, too, as it's where my hair is used to being.


While I had the camera out, two shots of my kids bundled up for another cold night under covers in pairs. Well, most of them anyway.

I made that silly hat (for myself), but it doesn't quite sit on her head right because her head isn't big enough.



The low tonight is 37. This is getting really weird. The low Saturday and Sunday night is 35. I know, I know, this is nothing, blah blah blah but for Florida this is really bizarrely extreme stuff. We almost never have cold fronts that last more than a day or two - and usually "cold front" means upper 40s at night.
