OH MY GOSH BEST NIGHT EVER

altarflameHad a mediocre day, too much cleaning, lots of allergy attack, PATH was alright. Made a kickass dinner. Kids to bed.
Then my husband starts in with the candle lit bubble bath for two in the garden tub. A delicious hour later and the poundcake I put in the oven is done (timer actually went off as I was toweling dry after my explanation of where my hypothetical mermaid fins would end), sliced for us both all warm and crusty on the outside, topped with berries and cool whip, and he's writing his boss an email saying he'll be late tomorrow.
Because we have an episode of Lost fully downloaded, and we're watching that instead of him going to bed.
