The SALT! Oh my gosh the saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalt

So, ok, this is totally my own fault, but I didn't FEEL like I was poisoning myself at the time :/

I am sitting here swooning with nausea, after half an hour on the bathroom floor, and somewhere in there it occured to me, with a retch and a tilt of the room, that I think my blood has turned to saline and that is the problem.

In the last 24 hours I've eaten a can of black olives either on their own or with tacos featuring canned refried beans, packaged shells, and cheese, and an entire jar of pesto on half a box of triscuits, and some turkey bacon.

DON'T EVER DO THAT. Your liver with have seizures. UGH.

...Tomorrow is fruit and water day.

Bilboards and bus stop ads have popped up all over my town, for the website "WhocanIsue.com" - the picture on the ads is of a business man with a briefcase slipping on a banana peel. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, you know?

And, oddly enough, they've largely replaced an ad campaign that featured a man with one finger pressed thoughtfully to his chin, in response to the question, "What have you done for your marriage today?"

Tomorrow, hmm. I will be out a lot in the middle of the day, with my cell, which works great while I'm on the road. Do you have that number?

And, I've actually started to consider that perhaps this is partially because I am normally NOT someone who eats canned anything. So my body was weak and unprepared :p

Did you have that sensation where you could smell the salt in your blood or taste the saline in your mouth? Ugh ugh ugh. And don't eat too much fruit or you'll have sugar water in your veins and you'll have hummingbirds trying to eat it out.

Also, did you have to mention pesto? I want a pesto Greek chicken pizza so bad now but I don't have pesto or the ingredients here. You are so cruel.

Ya know, my guess is that it's not saline your body is reacting to. Livers don't do cartwheels over salt.

It's most like the high fat in the foods you ate which is making your gallbladder rebellious. What were you thinking? :)
