I took pictures in the front yard today.

Sara - Elise is fitting into ADORABLE outfits you gave us and I am loving it.
She was hamming it up at first.

Then she started getting tired...

She really loves being in the stroller, which is a bit of a lifesaver for me right now. If you just walk her around in it for a few minutes she'll take a decent nap.
You can't get a camera near this kid without him going wild.

These two seem SO BIG to me. And tough and rugged though Aaron may look here, that's a pair of scissors that he's holding up...he was cutting the grass with them O_o He had the goal of doing the whole lawn, but then he lost the scissors, to the point that nobody could find them afterward. The grass is not THAT long.

Aaron comes and quietly hugs me about a dozen times a day. Long, lingering hugs that involve him patting and rubbing my back. He is amazing. The only person that hugs better than Aaron is Grant, and I'm certain that's just a size thing.
She's wearing MY skates...she does pretty well in them. There are 5 pairs of outgrown skates in their closet, between the two of them and what seems to me like the last year. I guess it's been a couple of years. Skates are at the top of both of their Christmas lists.

My brother tried to hold her still when she refused let me take her picture up close...

But then she agreed when I held the skates ransom ;) Ah, 7 year old transitional teeth.

Jakey was inside napping.

Date: 2007-11-10 07:41 am (UTC)Jake is really special. He's the most affectionate and expressive toddler I've ever known, and was the easiest baby I've ever had. We're like peas and carrots :p
