Having kids is not a job, RAISING them is. Perhaps you think checking people out at the grocery store would be a more significant contribution, but I disagree.

I actually am grateful every day that we have the opportunity to live with Grant's dad, so that I can stay home. It would break my heart to not be able to.

Anyway, you have enough backstory to obviously be riveted. I think one very intelligent problem child out of four is pretty good. Maybe one day you'll get to deal with someone who is "high needs", and understand.
