I made corn fritters for breakfast. Mmm. And I made this for dinner, with yellow rice and brocoli with cheese sauce, it came out so good I could die. Then the kids and I did this for dessert - and I think that was slightly dissapointing, but they loved it.
Since my little vocabulary list yesterday, Isaac has busted out with "tricky", "yay" and "home" - all clear as day, too. If you'd like, you can click here and see him making his mean face, his surprised face, and "freaking out". Be warned, though, you can see The Counter Of Doom in the background :P

Date: 2005-07-21 03:06 pm (UTC)What really surprised me, though, is that your house seemed so quiet. How do you do that? =) Well, I guess it helps that you didn't have the radio on. There is always some guy yammering on in the background of all our home videos, delivering the news and commentary.

Date: 2005-07-21 04:39 pm (UTC)To be honest I don't think we have a working radio in the house anywhere. We get news off of the computer, and listen to NPR in the van fairly often.
It's funny what you say about your old counter - I think that mail, flowers, flashlights and diaper covers probably account for 50% of our mess :P When this was taken I was just going through some old clothes of the boys', for the new baby, too, and Aaron had his remote control ATV guy up there, so it was especially ridiculous.
Why the hell does anyone need so many flashlights? And all without working batteries...
