From a long-time reader who no longer has an LJ account :)... I believe at one point you were doing a Couch to 5K plan, and I just wanted to give my feedback on doing one last summer. I started one after not exercising at all for YEARS, and I've continued to run for 9 months now. It's been great for me. I'm definitely not a natural athlete, or fast, or particularly motivated all the time. But I've found it to be something I can stick with mainly because I sign up for races...so then I have to train for them. And the races can be really fun. I only run about 3 times a week, because that's all I can fit into my schedule with young kids and a full-time job. I like it too because I can compete with myself to get better. (Also, my family was on vacation in Florida last month, and I did a run on the beach and felt like a badass, haha.)
