WOW!! I was just wondering when I'd see a post from you. I look forward to reading your lj. I see you posting on Tumblr from time to time but I'm on there less than here even if it's more active there. Anyway, I had to laugh about the cat's abscess... We had a cat when I was a kid: we called her "The White Cat" and she was more of a stray that hung around our house killing all the chipmunks on our property. Anyway, one day she developed an abscess on her head, likely from fighting another cat. So my dad came home from work that day and went to check out the situation and the thing exploded all over his pants! This all happened before he even got through the door. I remember running to greet him and him yelling for me to stay back and then seeing all this horrid, thick, green pus all down his leg. GOURDS. That was pretty wild but your experience sounds like something out of a comedy!

Also, I've been reading since Issac was just a little kid and I can vaguely remember you talking about him being really tough to handle but I'm interested in knowing more because I deal with GAD. I was a really tough kid because I was undiagnosed for all that time. Can you tell me a little more about how Issac acted as a little kid? What tipped you off that he might have something going on? In my case, I threw a LOT of tantrums especially about changes in my routine. If we turned a different way than usual in the car, I'd freak out. School was a nightmare. I've never heard of a kid being diagnosed so young and I have no idea how common is but it's interesting to me. Thanks!
