Life's been good to me so far

I honestly adore the older kids Annie hangs around, and feel better when they're present at an event she's going to be at, so that helps. I have enlisted them before on various levels when I felt worried about something specific. And I always tell Annie, over and over, that she can call me anytime, anywhere, for anything - that I'll come get her even if she just has a weird feeling, and she can make the excuse of feeling sick if she doesn't want to talk to peers about it.
