I had b12 shots for anemia issues throughout a large part of my teen years. Apparently they don't have to do it in your ass with giant needles anymore so there's that. It's not that bad, really. :-/ I don't know if that helps, it probably doesn't, but I mean at least you have an answer and things will get better? :-/ :-\
