Well, a university source doesn't make it unbiased either; it just suggests that the information was well-researched and closely evaluated to enable the author to make whatever argument they're trying to make, in a way that the author feels will stand up to academic scrutiny.
(Not the same anon as above, incidentally; just sort of a drive-by statement on evaluating sources. ;)
