I really hear you with regards the weather. It hit 109 degrees today. (I actually had to look up how hot it would be in Fahrenheit as we're in Celsius obviously, and I have to say, 109 is far more impressive than 42.9!) It will be around that hot again tomorrow. In our summer many days are over 85 or 90 degrees... So I can empathise where you are coming from a little, with the cold, because here it will get down to 40 degrees overnight in winter and we don't have central heating, if it were to SNOW, people would literally freeze to death in some houses. Apart from the fact that we would be falling over with surprise at snow, as well as slipping on the ice. Our houses are built to cool quickly, not to keep the heat in, or we would cook during our long summer. And funnily enough, despite all the ribbing we get from our Northern Hemisphere friends about how weak we are about the cold when we visit them, when they come here in our winter, almost without fail they say that they're the coldest they've ever been, because the houses just aren't built for the cold.
