I wish church services and worship time were more child friendly so that children could remain in church. With my background eduction in ministry and education I have a definate bias towards this approach. Creating something that churches can implement is one of a dozen possible doctoral thesis ideas that I have if I only had the time and money to be a full time student. I actually think that with a few subtle tweaks children would be very happy in church, as would many regular and new attenders who are unfamiliar with the thinking behind the practices.
I did kind of start to think that the package wasn't going to come, I suspected that there was a more local pressing need. We are leaning towards a diaper service and have been overwhelmingly blessed with shower gifts, so I'm thinking someone else might benefit more at this time, but I thank you for thinking of me. I'm trying to have less consumption in my life, for the emotional, financial, ecological, and practical good that will come from it.
