wow, your whole thing about "how can we build all these memories and then it just ends" is pretty much a direct excerpt from one of my biggest fears which keeps me up at night. I have so much trouble enjoying things because all I can think sometimes, in the middle of a great moment, is "and someday these people will all be dead and none of this will really matter." awful.
