Soliciting an editor.
Jul. 2nd, 2011 02:09 pmI have a thematic collection of short stories I want to make available for purchase for e-readers via Amazon. They're done, and somewhat edited, but I know there will be all sorts of little things I spot after publication that make me cringe and regret. I don't have time to edit them properly, and I really believe in the value of a third party editor even if I did.
If you:
-feel you've mastered the english language but can also respect poetic license
-are ok with relatively gory/disturbing material
-have a lot of free time on your hands in the coming weeks
feel free to contact me about this. I'm mainly after editing of grammatical, spelling, typo and other obviously, objectively "wrong" mistakes, but am also open to limited content editing/creative suggestions. I'm willing to comp someone's time, though I can't really do more than about $50.
Also can I just say I am SO EXCITED that Memo is making real progress on these BADASS AMAZING illustrations for my childrens' book and am really starting to see it come together in a way that could potentially lead to us doing collaborative kids' books galore :D
