Today I:

-procrastinated getting out of bed, while nursing Elise...I think it was 12:30 when I got up?
-got Elise dressed
-took a luxurious Lush (free samples) bath that started with demonstrating to all the kids how cool these things were, and then went on for over an hour with them off somewhere else, and was followed by oils and scrubs and moisturizers and finding the perfect thing to string this pendant I'd forgot about on
-opened blinds and curtains
-nagged at children to get their lists finished (chores, schoolwork)
-planned out math lessons
-read a book to Isaac
-served up the lunch Grant had cooked as he ran out the door
-sent Aaron and my brother out at different points to feed the chickens
-got everyone else dressed, with shoes and clean faces and hands
-took Aaron to hip hop (on time!)
-and the other four to Whole Foods
-was complimented by both a random customer and the cashier on my hair!! I'm telling you this is crazy!!
-called Grant
-ate a dinner of soup and corn bread and bottled water with them in the van
-took them all to Target so Aaron could spend his Target giftcard (from Christmas - he got pads for the skate park)
-talked to my sister on the phone
-dropped them off with a movie and my brother and went to BJ's by myself for toilet paper and other hoohaw, including many mini sweet peppers that will be stuffed with ricotta, mozarrella, basil and garlic and roasted in the oven (Shaun, you can come too)
-called Grant
-drove around aimlessly to listen to loud music and sing along
-was really happy with some deals I found - 4 packs of GOOD kids' toothbrushes at Target for $3.99, a 3 pack of stainless steel water bottles at BJ's for $14 (I've seen one for $30 at Whole Foods before, and never less than $10 each)
-played frustrating phonetag with Dama and Nancy AGAIN
-put away a ton of groceries
-cleaned up cat puke
-plunged a toilet
-read more of my great book, while nursing Elise a ton more
-snuggled and played with Jake in my bed
-cleaned a bunch of my nasty kitchen
-deleted a bunch of stupid repetetive formspring questions about Heather's stuffed animals
-got Elise in pajamas
-made tea and bread with honey for all the children, distributed peaches
-oversaw toothbrushing escapades
-told little kids to get back in bed 37 times, read them Olivia
-read A and A a chapter
-called Grant
-listened to pandora while wasting time checking things on the computer (friends page, email, facebook, formspring "following" stream)
-ran around picking up random things for 15 minutes
-closed blinds and curtains
-fed and watered cats
-made an lj entry

Ah yes, my life. Now it is 3 am, my husband will be home who knows when, we just got off the phone for the millionth fourth time and I'm thinking how good it is to have time to lay down and read while the kids are all asleep. But I think I have to make a stupid to-do list and fill in A and A's plans for tomorrow first.

I'll just go on and ask - has Sarah D figured out yet that I am the one who left the note on her car?

Also, Lj, I'm sorry I haven't responded to your facebook message yet, I only think of it when I'm not on facebook.

Teresa, I am so slack that your hat is going out TOMORROW. It will have a surprise with it as penance for lateness. Mailing packages might be simpler if I did a better job of getting up well before the post office closed.
