I am talking about;
-7 people x 7 outfits each = 49 outfits
-12 beach towels
-7 bathingsuits
-we had to bring our own linens for the cabin...think about that. I'm not going to itemize it.
-7 people x 2 pairs/pieces of pajamas each = 14 assorted sleeping getups
The bottom line I guess is just that, usually, the washer and dryer run most/all of the day in this house. The "canyon capacity" washer and dryer. I send Ananda or Aaron back in their just to move things through and transfer stuff from the dryer to a basket and start more a couple of times per day.
But we didn't do any laundry while we were gone. FOR A WEEK.
So aside from 2 great natural parenting group meetups, a BirthGirlz event, church, sleep and general parenting and meal preparation...that's where I've been for the last three days. I was sitting in the tv room surrounded on all sides by about 10 (CANYON CAPACITY SIZED) clean loads this evening, sorting and folding for approximately 2 hours, steadily sending children off with stacks and piles.
Sheesh.
