"my update"

my dad is in the hospital. he somehow acquired, simultaneously, an inner, middle and outer ear infection, and my sister discovered him yesterday, swollen in the face and supremely disoriented. it turned out he was also dehydrated with a high fever and when they got to the emergency room, they actually gave him percocet and morphine. so,that is pain. i'm itching to go visit him, but there have been serious babysitting/transportation issues.

also, i really love grant. he's all focused and driven about his business, and so good with the kids, and we laugh so much.

my book is coming along well. been working on it. i don't want my sister to go to texas. and i've got some italian on it's way, being delivered for dinner. ziti with meat sauce, chicken parmigian, and garlic rolls...mmm-hmm.
