altarflameMom: (cuts up 6 kiwis, gives them to Aaron and Isaac to share)
Aaron and Isaac: (slurp down all of it in, literally, under a minute)
Ananda: Mom, can I have some kiwi too?
Mom: No, I cut up the other EIGHT for you guys yesterday afternoon.
Ananda: How about a couple of blueberries?
Mom: I put them all in the muffins.
Ananda: What about a pear?
Mom: Isaac and I finished the bag off for brunch yesterday.
Luckily, Ananda will actually sit there and munch on a bowl of raw spinach leaves like it's the greatest thing in the world o_O
It's nuts, the fruit we go through around here. You open a crate of strawberries, and it does not make it back into the fridge. You bring home a bunch of bananas, and it doesn't last more than 2 days. I hear people talk in food_porn all the time about what to do with this or that fruit that's going bad: the answer is, SEND IT HERE.
Speaking of food_porn, LOOK at what I had for dinner last night :D -
