(no subject)

Last night, Grant and I played 20 Questions as we got into bed. This is because he got the ingenius idea (sarcasm hand is raised) to use "grass clippings" as his answer and so we obviously had to get on that right away. Then he actually had the nerve to tell me anyone with logical thinking skills could guess anything in 20 Questions, so I challenged him AND WON, with the answer "hair chopsticks". At some point in one of the 10 minute lulls between his questions I told him he needed to get on with it because "I'd like to have time to involve myself with your penis". It occured to me soon after (in the continuing dark silence) that probably this isn't the kind of come on most women would use.

What can I say, I'm direct.

We went to Mass all together today and I think it was a great success on every level:
-we got there early and got good seats
-the kids were really good AND INTERESTED the entire time
-they played one of Grant's favorite songs
-it is just so satisfying and right to feel that we're worshipping again
-papers with our names were left in the rotunda by the CCD lady so we can set up an appt

Aaron has been catching and talking to us about a lot of moths and spiders. Some of which are kind of mind blowing.

He also learned to fry eggs :)

Bob showing Elizabeth our auracana chick.

Forts!

Kittens!

What cast?

Cats in my cleavage.

This one is definitely my favorite...he reminds me of a cat I used to love, bigtime.

Grant made AMAZING burgers...jalapeno and garlic mushroom.

Mushrooms for Ananda :)

And pepperjack.

Brothers puzzling.

Sisters showering.

Our new art lines <3

This is Isaac's - it's a boy with a match in a dark room. HOW AWESOME IS THIS?!

He says this one is a meteorite - do you see the hole it made in the cloud, and the word "BUMP" down by the guy's head?? I love it.

Jake did this one, and it looked like nonsense to me until he explained...on the far right and left at the bottom are the front wheels of our van. That's me in the front with a big old steering wheel, driving, and him, Isaac and Elise strapped in, in the back ♥

I want to take pictures of them in a basket. And a pie crust. And the grass. And as a pile, and THEY'RE SO CUTE ALL THE TIME!!!

Moths are pretty mind blowing. Zoe brought me one a couple of days ago that was absolutely stunning. Spiders? I can't get into them. Heh.

Your kids are so talented. Ananda is seriously flexible!

KITTIES!!! I did not know this but apparently calicos are almost always female. So I guess that pretty multicolored kitten is probably a female. She is sure pretty though.

I'm not really into moths or spiders, but I try to see them through his eyes. He finds some AMAZING spiders....turquoise, banana spiders, golden orbs, orange crab spiders...but he is so obsessed with finding poisonous and venomous things that it really freaks me out at times. Ever since Shaun found a black widow on his property, for instance, Aaron is DESPERATE to find one too, or a brown recluse. He also constantly searches the host plants of all the most dangerous caterpillars. Ugh.

I didn't know that about calicos either, but, I was going to tell you that from my preliminary inspection (since they were out and about last night) it seems like that one is a girl. I don't feel at all like I have this down to a science though. It's kind of subjective, at least for me.

Not so creepy - Dama looks forward to coming to live at my house for awhile all year long :p Really, though.

If I had an easy way, I'm looking for homes for them for sure! Oh for cheap and safe kitten shipping, they'd be placed in no time...

So I'm lying in bed and Curtis is asleep and I'm all, "Check it out. A picture with your two favourite things: breasts and cats."
And he's all instantly awake.
