Just so you know...

I had my normal all evening kind of contractions last night, for the first time in a couple of days, but they felt different - because he's heavier and lower and I'm effaced now, probably - and then at like 5 am they were too much to stay laying down for anymore. Ever since then I've been having them no further than 4 minutes apart (usually 1-3) and they've steadily intensified to where I have to breathe through them and concentrate on staying relaxed/not panicking. Very defined peaks. 4 1/2 hours now, laying, standing, pacing, sitting, drinking, eating and they've not gone away and are definitely different and sometimes feel right on top of each other.

Soooooooooooooooo we're going to the birth center to get checked and determine whether we'll spend the day walking around up there somewhere, or come home, or move right into a room.

I think...I think...I think I'm actually (gasp) in labor.
