I wonder what the conflicting opinion would be. If someone could try to say there's nothing sexual about a pelvic exam. Everything I've ever seen written on this subject has been tell-alls by med students who've been penalyzed in large or small ways for refusing, so they are obviously against it - but if it's really that widespread there are obviously people out there who think it's just fine. Which is mind-blowing for me to even try to wrap my head around. Anything you have to do off record against AMA advice should already have taboo around it, I mean...trying to imagine being the med student in that situation I just don't get how it could possibly NOT seem wrong on any level.
